If you’re hosting a Halloween dinner party, there's a slim chance that you have themed decorations outside your home. Perhaps you’ve gone for a couple of pumpkins on you’re doorstep or gone full out with zombies on your front garden with lights projected on your house – whichever it is, replicate this same idea at your table. I personality like to keep it simple (believe it or not) with a couple of spooky themed candles from TK-Max in July with some cobwebs from a spray bottle with a few other embellishments in themed Halloween palettes. A week leading up to my gathering I like to go to the local farm to collect about a dozen various sizes of pumpkins to use on my table and around the space, plus tend to stumble across some sticks and twigs and bring those onto the table into a spare vessel. Simple is always more tasteful when it comes to designing a stylish and clean aesthetic, I tend to use a moody palette with a dark colour scheme. Choosing deep purples, burnt oranges with moody greys to mimic a mysterious atmosphere. Just remember that candles create the correct atmospheric, ambient lighting for a spooky table.
